Lindsey's High School Graduation Quilt

Our daughter, Lindsey, just graduated from high school.   So, I took all of her favorite t-shirts and cut them up.  Needless to say, she is not too happy with me.  I told her that it will be a nice way to preserve her memories.  She replied that she does not need another quilt in Arizona.  I guess I am in trouble!

Here is the picture so far of the cut up t-shirts.  Angel dog is sleeping on them in the picture.  At least our dog likes my idea!

I will keep you posted on my progress!  Hopefully, it will be done before she goes off to college in August.

Just Starting

I am a Real Estate Broker in Arizona.  During my spare time I like to sew and scrapbook.  I am a fabric o'holic!  I love colorful fabric and have the urge to buy it when I see it.  I guess I am a true gemini because I have many, many unfinished projects.

At this point I am trying to decide where to start.  I am getting ready to cut out Anna Marie Horner's Study Hall Skirt.  I purchased her fabric to make the pattern.  I hope it fits because the finished hip is quite large and the waist is small.  I may need to make some adjustments.

I also have three quilts that are in various stages of production.  I guess I really need to get those finished.  I just finished the top of Amy Butler's Sexy Hexy Love Quilt.  I am a huge Amy Butler fan.  I love all of her fabrics.  I guess they make me happy!  Here is a picture of me assembling Sexy Hexy:

I wil let you know how my Anna Marie Study Hall Skirt is coming along!
